One-on-One Tutorials Offered

The PhotoCenter has developed a series of courses to be scheduled at the individual’s convenience. Each course consists of multiple sessions, each personalized to maximally enhance the participant's photographic skills and experience. Please download and review the list of course offerings in PDF.

Tutorials may be scheduled day or evening to accommodate to your schedule. These hour-long sessions go at your pace, answering your specific questions and needs. The PhotoCenter is open to adding new topics at all times. 

Popular topics for tutorials include: Controlling your DSLR in manual mode, how the exposure triangle works, portrait photography in the studio and on-location, Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, Adobe Lightroom, working with Topaz modules, HDR. and creating a body of work for exhibition.

PhotoCenter Services & Equipment

In addition to our workshops and individualized courses, we offer a wide variety of computer and photography equipment for use on site, prints and other services, and spaces, including a darkroom, library, and other amenities at reasonable costs. Learn more!

December 2016

C.A.M.E.R.A. meeting: 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 13. Enjoy conversations about vintage cameras and their knowledgeable collectors. Open to the public. C.A.M.E.R.A. sponsors semi-annual shows. The fall show is scheduled from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2016. For more information visit www.camerashow.org.

Salon Night: 7–8:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 20. The Salon is a night designed for photographers to show a sample (up to 10 images) of their current work for peer critique and review. Bring in some of your work for discussion. This salon is for members' participation, but guest observers are welcome.

Holiday Closing: The PhotoCenter will be closed from December 24–January 12.
